Who We Are

We are a non-profit student organization devoted to providing ballroom dancing to Iowa State and the central Iowa area. We do this by offering lessons to the community, organizing social events, and holding workshops for the general public.

Our instructor and executive members seek training from world class professionals to provide the highest quality instruction. Within the company, the competition team represents Iowa State University at various regional and national competitions. The company fundraises throughout the year to provide showcases and social opportunities for all of its members.

Our company prides itself in being comprised of a very diverse group of youth, students, and community members. Within all of our offered classes, there are over 250 participants each semester. Our fun atmosphere combined with a professionally certified ballroom dance instructor makes our lessons the right match for any type of dancer. Whether you want to showoff on the social dance floor, have the perfect wedding dance, or train to be a national champion, the Iowa State Ballroom Dance Company will develop your dance ambitions.
