| Newcomer |
Never danced before? Then this is the course for you. We offer newcomer lessons on Wednesdays and Fridays. They both teach the same material, so you won't miss out by only attending one, but get a double-dose and go to both of them!

Once you understand the basics, you are welcome to join us at our beginner lessons. You can learn new steps in a casual environment while still having the benefits of professional instruction.

| Intermediate |
|
Ready to move on? Try out intermediate lessons. Technique will be reinforced and you can really learn to strut your stuff. Plus, you'll always be learning cool stuff to do on the dance floor.

So you're ready for the big top? At this level, we split up the rhythm and the smooth dance sessions and teach them on separate days. Rhythm is taught on Wednesdays and Smooth is taught on Fridays.

Want a taste of what the rest of the world has to offer? Try out this course. This course is offered at an intermediate level, so previous ballroom dance experience is required.

| Competition Team |

If you really want to show off what you can do, you should try out the competition team. We compete against area schools as well as regional and national competitions. Please check out the Competion Team page for more information!

Prices
All community lessons are based in "sets" which contain the dances displayed on the left. A set contains 10 lessons spanning 10 weeks (1 lesson a week). The set typically starts 2 weeks after the fall/spring semester for Iowa State begins. Look at our schedule for actual dates/times.

Registration
Registration is done at the lesson site. We give you the option to try each of our classes for free! (Some restrictions apply) Everyone gets a free lesson for every set. After your free lesson, (it could be any lesson durning the set; it does not need to be on the first week), you will be required to register before you can participate in any more classes.
To register for a lesson, all you have to do is come to the lesson
you wish to enroll in and fill out a white card with your name and
what class you'd like to take.
Lessons run from 6 - 9 pm on Wednesdays and Fridays in room 184 Forker. After you pay, you're officially a member!
